It is a milestone: 90 consecutive days of meditation.
Once I heard this from someone somewhere: “If you do one thing for 90 days non stop, you will form a habit of doing that thing.” I used to believed in actions. I used to believe that good habits make good people. Since the day I learned from Sadhguru that I am not the body neither my mind, I decided to proceed this journey.
When I Look back, I realize that everything that I have experienced is helping me to reveal the true me, true self, true heart, whatever you call it. This is not the 90-day journey of meditation, it is part of my life journey of self realization and true heart exploration.
In the past 90 days, I have gone through many thresholds. First the physical challenges of all kinds: discomforts in different body parts, soreness and pains getting more and more intensive. Once I went through all those, my body started to cooperate pretty well and I could sit through one hour or even two hours without moving a muscle.
Right now when I sit down to meditate, within a couple of minutes, I could feel the cool breeze flowing throughout my limbs and torso, from the tips of my shoulders to the center of my feet. I clearly feel the energy/qi continues to flow through the problematic body parts. Its healing power is indescribable!
I realized that the mind are often disguised. Mind likes to play many tricky games. It can be disguised as different very legit thoughts. Thanks to those many thresholds that my mind put me into, I’ve got lots of chances to go deeper. Not like the physical thresholds, same mind threshold could come again and again. But after I went through them quite a few times, I found that I’ve changed. I realized that Every threshold that I passed through pushed me to a new level. Today I enjoy come across thresholds. I welcome them and I even expect them.
What would it be like after I hit 180, 360 days milestones? I am so curious and exciting, about every step on my journey to self exploration and realization!
